Kick-off meeting of the Indonesia eTrade Readiness Assessment

The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia are organizing a kick-off meeting for the eTrade Readiness Assessment of Indonesia on 12 November 2024.

The eTrade Readiness Assessment (eT Ready) will review Indonesia’s e-commerce ecosystem, with a view to identifying policy recommendations for strengthening innovation, increasing global competitiveness, and creating a robust and inclusive digital economy. The kick-off meeting will bring together representatives of key stakeholders for the project development.

The assessment will be the eleventh eT Ready in Asia and the fourth in Southeast Asia following the ones in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar. Funding is provided by the E-commerce and Digital Economy Programme Core Donors (Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and the Kingdom of the Netherlands).
