Closing event of the 2nd English edition of the e-Learning course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Trade Facilitation

This event will mark the closing of the second course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Trade Facilitation. 

In this event, apart from showing the final results and statistics of the course, the use of the Reform Tracker will be highlighted as a monitoring and evaluation tool, and partner countries will be able to share how they are monitoring the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and their respective TF reforms. 

This event marked the 2nd English edition of the e-learning course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Trade Facilitation*. This course is part of the UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFC). 

The course is designed to strengthen NTFC members’ capacities on monitoring and evaluation. By the end of this course, NTFC members will understand the main concepts of monitoring and evaluation and how they are relevant in the context of trade facilitation. They will also become more familiar with the planning tools and approaches, as well as the key components of a monitoring plan. Finally, this course will show them the main steps they need to follow in order to conduct an evaluation.
