Combating inequality and poverty in Tanzania

The United Republic of Tanzania has achieved significant economic growth and social development in the past two decades. However, progress on poverty reduction has been slow due to, among others, income inequality. This seminar will examine the trends on poverty and inequality in Tanzania and discuss some of the policies being implemented to address them.
