The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UNCTAD, in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and SME promotion in Côte d'Ivoire, is organising national consultations in preparation of the development of an E-commerce Strategy in Abidjan on 9 November 2023.
The objective of this meeting is to present an up-to-date diagnostic of the e-commerce ecosystem in Côte d’Ivoire across key policy areas and discuss challenges faced by several entities from the government, the private sector and other key actors. The meeting will also be an opportunity to discuss and validate the strategic priority areas suggested on this basis.
The Côte d'Ivoire E-commerce Strategy Development Project expands UNCTAD’s ongoing technical assistance on e-commerce in West Africa, including the ECOWAS E-Commerce Strategy adopted last July.
Funding is provided by the E-commerce and Digital Economy Programme Core Donors (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and The Netherlands).
