Trade facilitation stakeholders from the Organization of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) are participating in UNCTAD’s e-Learning Course for National Trade Facilitation Committees*. As part of this training, ten webinars will be organized.
The ninth module is entitled “Trade facilitation and e-business standards and recommendations by UN/CEFACT”. After completing the ninth module, participants will be more versed with various international standards, recommendations and tools designed and published by organizations such as the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT). The module shows how UN/CEFACT works and why these international organizations are important for the efficient functioning of the global trading system.
The objective of the webinar is to provide trade facilitation stakeholders from the ECOWAS with an opportunity to discuss more in-depth the content of the ninth module of the UNCTAD e-Learning Course for NTFCs. Besides discussion on the content of the module, participants will also have the chance to share their experience on the best use of the platform.
