The report provides a thorough overview of the current e-commerce ecosystem in Kenya and identifies opportunities and barriers in seven policy areas (i.e., e-commerce readiness and strategy formulation, ICT infrastructure and services, trade logistics and trade facilitation, payment solutions, legal and regulatory frameworks, e-commerce skills development, and access to financing). The launch will provide an opportunity for key stakeholders and development partners to comment on the main recommendations from the report and next steps towards the development of a national E-commerce Strategy for Kenya. Targeted participants include senior officials and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies as well as representatives of the private sector.
