The National Validation Workshop on the Vulnerability Profile and the Study on the Impact of the AfCFTA on Djibouti's Prospects for Structural Transformation is organized by UNCTAD in collaboration with the Government of Djibouti – Ministry of Commerce and Tourism – and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), with support from the United Nations Country Team in Djibouti.

The National Validation Workshop has the following objectives:

• Present the findings of the Vulnerability Profile and the Impact Study;
• Raise awareness among the private sector about the implications of vulnerabilities and the opportunities presented by the implementation of the AfCFTA and Djibouti's accession to the World Trade Organization;
• Provide an opportunity for a multi-stakeholder dialogue on an appropriate general policy framework to address vulnerabilities and strengthen the country’s resilience;
• Promote national consensus on policies for the eventual graduation with momentum and develop a document outlining the priorities policies to this end.
