Held in the context of International Women’s Day and the 65th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, "Target Gender Equality Live" will demonstrate UN Global Compact's leadership on gender equality. It will showcase the "Women’s Empowerment Principles" and promote the "Target Gender Equality" global impact initiative.

The interactive virtual event seeks to inspire and engage business and other stakeholders to take concrete action to advance gender equality and to help build private sector support and momentum in advance of the gender equality forums taking place later in the year.
