Recent disruptions and crises, such as natural disasters and geopolitical tensions, have highlighted the fragility of supply chains, introducing new risks and challenges. Ensuring global connectivity is paramount in navigating these complexities, highlighting the importance of practical multi-stakeholder solutions to strengthen resilience and adaptability.
This session will bring together industry leaders working together to strengthen service quality and connectivity in maritime transport. Topics will include current challenges and bottlenecks, the impact on global connectivity, particularly for Small Island Developing States.
The importance of harmonisation and dialogue to drive forward decarbonisation and digitalisation efforts will be explored, and speakers will also provide insights into stakeholder expectations for minimum service levels, promoting reliability, visibility and transparency in the maritime supply chain.
