The Spanish-speaking Network of the UN Trade and Development's TrainForTrade Port Management Program, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Maritime, River, Lake, and Merchant Marine Interests of the Ministry of Defense and Port Jennefer, is organizing the evaluation panels for the final dissertations of the 4th cohort of the Modern Port Management course in Bolivia for 23 port managers (including 2 women) from Bolivia port communities. This event will take place from April 14 to 16 in La Paz.
International experts from Argentina, Spain, Panama and UNCTAD will participate in the evaluation panels.
The port certificate will be awarded to those who have successfully completed the eight modules and defended their case studies. The two participants with the highest averages will benefit from a scholarship to participate in a study trip to two Spanish ports during the year 2026.
The Port Management Program provides technical assistance, training, research and analysis on port issues, including indicators, and organizes regional port meetings.
