Validation Workshop for the eTrade Readiness Assessment of Algeria

The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion of Algeria, is organising a validation workshop for the eTrade Readiness Assessment of Algeria on 10 July 2024 in Algiers.

This meeting aims to bring together key national e-commerce actors and stakeholders in order to validate the findings and recommendations of the assessment across seven key policy areas for e-commerce. TItwill provide an opportunity for the members of the National Technical Committee on e-commerce, representatives of the private sector and development partners, to provide any final feedback and supplementary information for the assessment, discuss the recommendations and agree on priority actions that will be integrated into the Action Matrix of the report.

Algeria’s eTrade Readiness Assessment was undertaken in close collaboration with development and eTrade for all partners, as well as the UN Resident Coordinator Office. It is funded by the E-commerce and Digital Economy Programme Core Donors (Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and The Kingdom of the Netherlands).
