Webinar on Competition Law and Policy for Portuguese speaking countries / Seminário sobre Direito da Concorrência e Políticas para os países em desenvolvimento de língua portuguesa

Within its technical cooperation pillar, UNCTAD has been developing technical assistance and institutional capacity-building activities on Competition and Consumer Protection Policies in Portuguese-speaking Developing Countries.

Building up on the project’s beneficiaries’ needs, the seminar aims to enhance knowledge and skills necessary to the effective enforcement of competition law and policy in these countries. 

The seminar targets the Competition Authority staff, civil servants and officials from sectoral regulators and will cover anti-competitive practices investigations, merger control, and public procurement, using case studies’ presentations and discussions.
