The workshop on how to monitor the Madagascar National Trade Facilitation Strategy is a three-day interactive event in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The primary goal is to update the status of implementation of the provisions of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and ensure accurate progress tracking. It focuses on developing measurable performance indicators for the National Trade Facilitation Strategy aligned with the existing roadmap. It will also serve as an opportunity to discuss progress made on streamlining trade procedures through business process analysis, another component of UN Trade and Development technical assistance package in Madagascar under the Accelerate Trade Facilitation Programme. 

Additionally, the workshop aims to train and motivate Madagascar’s trade facilitation stakeholders to contribute to the continuous update of the Reform Tracker.
