The kick-off workshop will launch the Development Account project: "Strengthening capacity for evidence-based policymaking and the economic resilience of CARICOM".
This exclusive workshop focuses on advancing the capacity and data infrastructure of selected CARICO Member States to enhance evidence-based policymaking for resilience and transformational change in services.
Trade in services is pivotal for economic development, particularly amidst challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and climate disasters. Our objectives include highlighting the significance of services for economic diversification, sharing best practices in compiling trade statistics, identifying priority sectors and data gaps, and discussing the project's workplan.
This invitation-only event will gather experts from beneficiary countries, including statistical and policy experts and representatives from CARICOM, UN Barbados, OECS, ACS, and their members.
By invitation only, this activity is limited to a specific number of participants.
