Focal Points from countries partnering with the E-Commerce and Digital Economy Programme of UNCTAD will participate in an Online Capacity Building Workshop in support of the 4th eTrade Implementation Review, a key initiative under UNCTAD’s eTrade Implementation Support Mechanism.
The Review will assess progress in the implementation of e-commerce enabling initiatives in more than 40 countries that have benefited from UNCTAD’s eTrade Readiness Assessments or developed E-Commerce Strategies with UNCTAD support. It will also feature achievements and good practices, as reported by the eTrade community of Focal Points. In this context, it will identify common challenges faced by several in the community, areas needing further technical or financial assistance and highlight priority actions for development partners eager to assist.
Three sessions of 1h15 each have been scheduled to present the methodology for the review, share information and tips to facilitate the participation of Focal Points and relevant national stakeholders from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific regions.
